Willis is a former member of the Lingnan University Students’ Union, the Hong Kong Federations of Students, and Land Justice League. Last year, she was sentenced to 13 months imprisonment for joining the anti-Northeast New Territories Development Plan rallies. In prison, she had the chance to connect with those who are marginalized by our society and is determined to make their stories heard.
After graduation, Willis started working as a reporter. She believes that when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Even if the search for truth and justice means undertaking numerous futile quests, let us embark on the journey, together.
