「好夠薑」由執著食物選材、踐行綠色生活和支持本地生產的女子(夠薑女)組成。希望連繫產地和人,以創意和手作尋找本地農業生產的可能性。他們源自好山好水的荔枝窩,環境友善薑和薑黃經歷10個月耕耘後,落在夠薑女手中製作成護膚品及食品,創造本地種植、本地加工的永續社區經濟。
夠薑女Thisb是兩兒女之母,原是一名首飾設計師,卻醉心研製手工護膚及清潔用品,盡力發掘薑和薑黃的優點加以善用製作成不同產品。
夠薑女Teresa是樸門設計師,曾在綠色團體工作開啓農耕和永續生活之門。到外地不同農場打工換宿,希望以樸門關顧地球、關顧人類及分享多餘方式發掘跟本地農產品連繫的種種可能。
“Very Ginger” is co-founded by women who support local farming, local produces and living a green life. Bridging farm and people, they are exploring the possibilities of local agricultural production with their creativity and handmade products. Very Ginger was formed in Lai Chi Wo, a remote yet unpolluted countryside. Participating in a movement to develop sustainable community economy, their founders focus on developing eco-ginger and turmeric products. After the farmers’ 10 months of hard work, the harvested farm produces are ready to be made into a series of skincare and food products.
Thisbe, one of the co-founders, is a mother of two children. She was a jewelry designer and is very passionate about making skincare products. She spots the characteristic of ginger and turmeric to our body and develops handmade skincare products out of it.
Teresa, another co-founder, is a permaculture designer. Her work experience in green groups opens her mind in local agriculture and sustainable living. Having traveled and volunteered on farms in other countries, she is inspired to step into local agriculture chain based on permaculture beliefs of earth care, people care and fair share.
