畢業於香港中文大學政治及公共行政學系,Sisi持有倫敦政治經濟學院性別研究碩士及清華大學中國法律第二學位,現職香港婦女中心協會總幹事。
香港婦女中心協會致力結合婦女為本服務及倡議工作,通過為婦女充權及倡議法律及政策修訂以達至性別平等,工作重點包括:為受婚姻困擾婦女提供情緒、朋輩及法律支援,支援基層婦女接受職業培訓以達致經濟充權,並鼓勵婦女積極參與社會事務生活,包括組織婦女、社區人士及學生參收集剩食後再分發給區內有需要家庭,亦以婦女為「行動者」於社區內推廣可持續發展的生活模式。婦女中心亦關心照顧者的需要及推動社區及專業人士以其所能支援照顧者。
Graduated from CUHK’s Department of Government and Public Administration, Sisi Liu holds a Master’s Degree in Gender Studies and a second degree in Chinese Law. She is now the director of Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Centres.
Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Centres is committed to working with women-oriented services and initiatives to achieve gender equality through empowerment and advocacy of laws and policies. The Centres’ main initiatives include: (1) providing emotional, peer and legal support to married women, (2) providing vocational training to achieve economic empowerment, (3) encouraging women to participate in social affairs like gathering community members to collect food and distribute it to families in need in the district, and (4) supporting women as initiators to promote sustainable lifestyles within the community. The Women’s Centres also focus on the needs of carers and encourage community and professionals members to support carers.
