黎明博士,研究興趣包括醫療社會學、社會網絡與身份認同、以及性別與情慾。黎博士本科畢業自上海復旦大學,於2008年來到香港深造,繼而於香港中文大學社會學系獲得哲學碩士與哲學博士學位,目前在香港教育大學社會科學系任職講師。她也曾任教於香港大學和香港中文大學,《明報》、《立場新聞》和《時代論壇》等媒體都有她撰寫的專欄或評論文章,同時身兼香港生死學協會的委員會成員和性/別公義委員會的發言人。
Dr. Minnie Li is a sociologist with research interests in medical sociology, Chinese societies and culture, social networks and identity, and gender and sexuality. She received her Bachelor in Sociology degree from Fudan University, Shanghai in 2007 before she moved to Hong Kong in 2008. She further received her M.Phil. in 2010 and Ph.D. in 2017 from the Department of Sociology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).
Dr. Li is currently a Lecturer at the Department of Sociology, CUHK, and had taught and coordinated courses for undergraduates and postgraduates for CUHK, the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and Education University of Hong Kong (EdU). She is also a prolific and influential author of column articles in MingPao Daily, Stand News and Christian Times, and a committee member of the Hong Kong Life and Death Studies Association.
