袁嘉蔚,香港城市大學中文系畢業。相信政治與情感密不可分,希望以溫柔而倔強的韌力守護每個受壓迫的群體。
大學一年級起涉足社會運動,曾參與碼頭工運、反東北發展示威、雨傘運動等,擔當過前線、組織工作、後援崗位;近年開始在囚支援工作,曾任政黨副主席,現於南區田灣做地區工作。
對於女性參與社會運動或政治運動角色、情感與政治等議題甚感興趣。曾到台灣出席相關交流會議:【從談情說愛到政治參與:女人與政治運動在香港】、【香港台灣共同體:民主運動中的女性經驗】
Tiffany Yuen graduated from the Chinese Department of the City University of Hong Kong. She believes that politics and emotion are inseparable, and she wishes to protect oppressed groups through her work.
She started joining social movements since her first year in college and has since participated in various movements including the 2013 Dock Workers Strike, the 2014 Northeast New Territories development protests, and the Umbrella Movement, serving various roles. In recent years, she has been working to support imprison protestors. She served the role of vice-chairperson of a local political party and is now starting community work for the party.
Tiffany is interested in understanding and exploring issues related to women’s participation in social and political movements, especially the relationship between emotions and politics.
